Welcome to my class website!

A little about me:
I grew up in Alpine, Utah and went to Lone Peak High School. After high school, I went to BYU and swam for the (at the time) undefeated conference championship swim team. I graduated in 2010 with a degree in English Teaching, having received a fellowship for excellence in the department of education as well as a research grant–the findings of which were published in an undergraduate research journal at BYU.

I previously taught in Canyons School District at Butler Middle School and Midvale Middle School, as well as in Salt Lake City School District at Highland High School.

Recently, I’ve lived in both Lexington, Kentucky and New York City. I’m married (my husband also teaches and coaches football), and I have two little girls, ages 7 and 4. When I’m not teaching you can find me reading, playing with my kids, skiing, and riding my bike.
